Free sample itinerary builder
Build a clean sample flight itinerary in minutes.
Worldwide airport search, one-way, return or multi-city routing, and a print-ready layout — every page of it stamped SAMPLE — NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL, because that is exactly what it is.
Trip details
Display options
These change how the sample looks. They do not price, hold or reserve anything.
Passenger details
Enter only what a sample itinerary needs to look complete. Never enter passport numbers, payment details or anything you would not want printed on a demonstration document. Everything you type stays in your browser.
Your sample itinerary
Review it below, then print or save a PDF. The watermark cannot be removed — that is the point.
What this tool does, and what it refuses to do
Most confusion about "dummy tickets" comes from tools that blur the line. This one draws it in bold.
✓ What it creates
- A formatted itinerary showing routing, dates, times and cabin
- Real airport names, IATA/ICAO codes, coordinates and time zones
- Calculated great-circle distances and estimated flying time
- Local arrival times, including date changes across time zones
- A printable, PDF-ready layout with a permanent sample watermark
✗ What it will not create
- A PNR, record locator or booking reference — the fields read SAMPLE — NOT ISSUED
- An e-ticket number or ticket stock number
- A boarding pass, barcode or QR code
- An airline logo, letterhead or anything resembling airline branding
- Any document an airline, border officer or consulate could verify
Why the blanks stay blank. A six-character code in a "booking reference" box is the one element that turns a planning document into something that can be passed off as a real one. Leaving it as SAMPLE — NOT ISSUED costs you nothing if you are planning a trip, and removes the only reason to use this tool dishonestly. If you need a genuine reference, book a real fare or a held reservation with the airline.
How it works
Three steps, no account, nothing stored.
Step 1
Pick your route
Search any of 4,133 airports with scheduled service by code, city or name. Add legs for a return or multi-city trip and the distances update as you type.
Step 2
Add the passenger
A name and title is enough. Everything you type stays in your browser — there is no account, no server-side record and nothing to delete later.
Step 3
Preview and print
The sample renders with the watermark baked in. Print it, save it as a PDF, copy a plain text summary, or share a link that carries the whole itinerary inside the URL.

Airport data
Where the numbers come from
Airport names, codes, coordinates and elevations come from OurAirports, released into the public domain and updated nightly. This site pins a snapshot at build time and narrows it to airports with scheduled service, so the search stays fast and works offline. Time zones are derived from each airport's coordinates. Distances are great-circle calculations, not published airline route lengths — see the methodology.
